nothing about you is kept, and every sentence on this page is measured.
this site
it collects nothing.
no cookie is placed in your browser. no script comes from anywhere else. there is no form and no account. the server log keeps neither your address nor anything that points to you: only the date, the page asked for, and the answer code.
pages read are counted. people are not, and this site has no way of doing so.
each of these four sentences is checked at every release.
yocable
no account, and no internet.
the application works entirely offline. its words ship with it, and your progress lives in your phone. no account is needed to use it.
if you create an account, it stores seven things: your identifier, your mail address, your display name, your picture, your points, your tier and your language pairs. the server rule lets you alone read them, and refuses everything else.
nothing is shared with a third party. there is no audience measurement and no tracker.
no measuring tool among the 61 parts of the application, and no call to a measuring service while it runs.
where it is kept
on servers in the united states.
the seven things of a yocable account are kept in a google database, installed in the united states.
they therefore leave europe, and that is the only place they go.
they travel encrypted. for that transfer, google applies to its customers the standard protection clauses of the european union.
for how long
as long as the account exists.
the seven things stay as long as the account exists. the day you delete it, they go with it.
a backup copy may survive seven days after the deletion, then it disappears on its own.
nothing is kept beyond that, and no copy is made anywhere else.
why
one reason only, and it is you.
these seven things are stored only if you choose to create an account.
they serve one purpose: finding your progress again when you change phone.
nothing else is done with them. nothing is sold, and nothing is rented.

what you can ask for.
you can ask to see what is stored about you.
you can have it corrected, have it erased, receive a copy of it, and ask that nothing more be done with it.
write to the address at the bottom of this page. the answer comes within one month, and it costs nothing.

younger people
sixteen years old for an account.
the application can be used at any age, without an account.
creating an account requires being sixteen. an account reported as belonging to someone younger is erased.
